POEMS

Written By Me

Today, she choose’s courage. Courage to have the audacity to keep rising up from life’s turbulent storms. Storms that leave her spinning, not knowing where she will end up. Storms that seem so black, as though there will never be light again.

Today, she stands tall. Tall in understanding that there is strength in her vulnerability, and in her mis-steps. Knowing that is, and always will be the journey of life.

Today, she accepts herself. Accepts all pain, grit, beauty, femininity, laughter, tears, joy and all the in-between. Exploring and embracing all aspects of her wild, and free soul. Accepting what that truly means.

Today, she is resilient. Resilient and intrepid in mind, body and soul. Understanding that life’s adversity’s are lessons to be learnt, not setbacks. For she grow’s through each and every hauntingly, beautiful, and soul dis-mantling experience.

Today, she accepts life. Accepts that true freedom lies in allowing life to simply, be. Finding faith that there is divine purpose, if she can allow space for it.

For I am she, she is me, and we will always be one.

Heal

With one hand on her heart and one hand on her belly, she began to heal.

She began to feel all of the things she had not allowed herself to feel before, all the things that she had run from. And feel it fully she did.

She touched the places that hurt and with the compassion and strength that she found, she let them hurt, let them bleed, and slowly carefully let them go.

With one hand on her heart and one hand on her belly, she began to heal.

She tasted the freedom of her wild soul, and began freeing herself into the divine space that she was creating.

She smelt the cool air and began to breathe again. She could see her whole body move with excitement, towards the home that she was magically recreating within herself.

With one hand on her heart and one hand on her belly she began to heal.

She could hear the beautiful sounds of the birds again, and smiled for the richness of natures pure sounds.

She could see the sunshine pouring into her soul as she rose up from the darkness, and looked around to see the beauty of the world once again.

With one hand on her heart and one hand on her belly, she began to heal.

She was gaining so much more than she could ever imagine. She was entering the emotional fire, and burning off everything that was blocking the very core of her from truly being in the world.

She was unearthing her soul and beginning to show up humbly, and with her heart wounded, but delicately open.

For I am she, she is me, and we are finally one.

With one hand on her heart and one hand on her belly she began to heal.

She

2021

May this be a year full of kindness both to ourselves and each other.

May this be a year full of health,

Full of compassion and hope.

May this be a year of chances, and leaps of faith,

The year you find your smile back.

May this be a year full of gratitude of the little things,

A year full of big dreams and magic.

May this be a year full of nourishment for your body, mind, and soul.

A year full of optimism and opportunity,

The year of movement in all kinds.

May this be a year full of wild adventures in nature,

A year full of connections, both old and new.

May this be a year of forgiveness and love,

And above all a year we can all see each other, and get close enough for HUGS!
